Spellbinders Small Die of the Month Box Card

I made this super sweet little box card using the Feb 2019 small die of the month from Spellbinders.

Start with a 9 1/2 x 5 1/2" base and score and cut as indicated in the photo below.
remove the 1/2" section from the top edge and cut down to the 2 1/2" score line from the top.
(shorter end)

This gives you the correct size box card for the small die to wrap around the base of the card.

Next start paper piecing the parts that you would like to stand out from the rest of the die.

Ink blend a little blue for your sky

Add some grass and clouds. If you dont have any dies for this you can always ink blend in the clouds and cut a hill boarder as a background for your scene from some green paper. Trim off all but the back panel so you dont cover up your pretty butterfly garden.

Arrange your scene popping up the butterfly garden

My photos dont due this justice.. Its really very pretty in person!

Now place strong adhesive on the tab and close up the ends of your box. Add in your strips to the inside of the box and attach your garden pieces and the sSpring Greetings to the back panel.

I added a little white fence inside my box to help set the garden scene.
The flower spray closest to the back panel is an epoxy sticker I used from my stash. Add little finishing touches like dimensional ladybugs. Shop your stash....you never know what you will find!

The Back Panel is just as sweet as the front!

10 Cards one Kit Spellbinders Feb card kit

I had so much fun creating these cards and it was super easy with the sketch sheet and all the goodies Spellbinders includes in the kits. I could have easily made many more cards. Here are some close ups of the cards and the video is linked at the end of the post.

Snail Mail Stationary Set

Hi guys! For today's project I created a snail mail set using stamps and dies from Maymay Made It. If you follow me you know how much I LOVE to send out happy mail so I had to have these stamps and dies in my goto crafty stash.

I have a pen pal in the UK that has a thing for cute snails and owls so I decided to make her a matching card, envelope and stationary set using the "It's in the mail" stamp set and "Big time sayings" stamp and die set.

For a full detailed tutorial click on the video at the end of this post.

The Copic markers I used that match the oxides almost perfectly are RV 02, 04 - YG 11, 13 - YR 12, 15 - V15, V17

A tip for using alcohol markers on unfriendly paper surfaces- use a scrap piece of paper inside your envelope to keep from bleeding through to the other side and a piece of printer paper under your work to help keep your ink from bleeding outside the lines. Also minimal blending and light touch can help as well.

The products I used for this project are listed below

It's in the Mail stamp set- https://www.maymaymadeit.com/collections/maymays-stamp-sets/products/its-in-the-mail?variant=7035166147?aff=20

Valentines Day Folio

Yay my kit finally arrived!

I managed to make, video, edit, voiceover, post and send off my granddaughters package all in time for Valentines day....that was cutting it a little to close for my liking but I'm sure she will be one happy little girl when she gets it.

Here are a few photos and the video link at the end of this post.

I hope this gives a few ideas for what you can do with your kits and share a little fun with your loved ones.
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!
