Makeover cabinet

I had this wooden cabinet for the last 10 or so years 5 of which it spent holding tools and collecting dust in the garage. It was my daughters when she was little and into purple...I am not so much into purple so it got a makeover.

I saw on pinterest someone else use scrapbook paper decoupaged onto furniture so I thought my scraps of Prima paper would look nice with the shabby chic look I was going for. It didn't turn out exactly the way I had hoped but for my first furniture makeover I can live with it  =)

Gorgeous!! I wish I had a cabinet like that! I painted an old headboard white and dressed it up with scrapbook papers a few years ago, folks are always surprised when I tell them the flowers are paper LOL

I bet it is beautiful. This was my first try and since one of my babies just flew the coop (moved out into the big world on her own) I have a spare room to makeover as my new studio. This is the first piece in there =)

Thank you Susan! I hope I can keep inspiring you to create =) I had to stop for a long time while going to school and working full time. I missed it even though my wallet didnt, my heart did.
