Christmas Goodies

Christmas goodies for the fair

This ornament ball was harder than I thought it would be to make but its soooo cute!

Victorian cone with cute vintage images lace and buttons added.

I saw these on pinterest and decided they would look cute shrunk down as ornaments with a little hole on the back to put
one of the lights through.

This one is pink and white and covered in glitter. I made a wreath out of chipboard then glossy accents and tiny pink and white glass beads. The snowflake fence is cut from a Tim Holtz die and covered with white fun flock. My studio is very messy right now =)

This one is made the same way only its chocolate brown with a mocha roof.

These cute little ginger bread houses are in the works. they will also hang from the tree and have a place to insert a tree light inside.

Some necklaces made from old domino's and vintage pictures. Cute little stocking stuffers.

The end for now! Its back to work cleaning up the glittery fun flock and working on more ornaments for the craft fair tree.

Fair Display

We all headed out to the scary antique shed this morning and found treasure!!

This is the beginnings of our space at the fair. It will only be 8 ft x 7 ft so I was thinking old wooden boxes maybe some old suit cases stacked up but I found something even better.

My grandmother had one of these and I have always regretted not keeping it. Just thinking about all the things I got rid of as a kid makes me cringe!

I love the floral fabric that covers every inch of the inside and the aging just makes it look even better.

It has all of the drawers but we took some out and set them on the floor as part of our display. We have a ton of stuff to make before Thanksgiving weekend.

I made a dressform out of chicken wire and an old lamp stand. The pictures for that are at the end of this post. It will be placed on the other side of the table. That makes it 8 ft long.

Here is the dress form with my Shabby flowers on it and one of the necklaces we will be having for sale at the fair. She made them out of domino's and vintage photos.

and the best for last. My cute little puppy hanging out next to our stuff.

Experimenting with photography so some picture have different lighting and settings.
Have a great weekend!

Shabby Bird cage

I found a bird cage at the antique mall that looked horrid but I saw the potential under the silver paint, dust and ugly fake ivy hanging all over it.

My photography skills are lacking. I have books and will get better!

This is my little chip board birdie I made. Its covered in glitter glass very soft snow white feathers

I put lots of lace, sparkles and little tiny lights.

looks so pretty in person.

Christmas time is coming!

Miss Ashely has been busy this last weekend and now has recruited help from the family!

Her little adventure into business seems to be a hit. She sells out so fast she had even ask her brothers to help with assembly. Two more sets will be out with a fall harvest theme sometime next week if they can get along long enough to finish them =)

Hugs <3 p="p">

PS. Getting ready for the scrapbook convention next weekend and more Antique finds that I am stripping down and refinishing this weekend..I am taking pictures to post of the before and afters.
