From Trash to Treasure

I found a wooden serving tray at yard sale.

 It was a dark brown stain that had lots of scratches in it.

I have been wanting to try out the chalk paint 

everyone has been using lately so I paid $3 for the tray

and headed home to experiment.

I wish I had taken a before picture but I got sidetracked and 

missed my opportunity. I love the way this turned out so much

that I will be doing this all summer long. 

Look out yard sales here I come!!

I cant wait to try this out on the $25 Oak dresser I 

got as well.

I will take before and after photos of that project for sure.
