Reverse Layering

Today's card is also for the MFTstamps Superstar challenge. This is my clean and simple entry.

I tried to angle my camera so its easy to see the layers so hopefully you can make them out. I stamped and colored my images then using the coordinating dies I cut a second panel around the stamped images and popped it up for a reverse layer effect. I will do a video showing how to do this because I don't feel the pictures show how beautiful these cards turn out.

Two Way Slider Card

I created this two way slider card for the Innovation Master Challenge over on the MFTstamps blog.

I wanted my slider to pull my Frightfully Sweet critters up the hills to trick or treat at houses on the top of each hill....BIG ideas...tiny little space. so instead they are heading for the candy buckets instead. Maybe houses next time on a much larger card base.

I want to thank MFT for inspiring me to create every month with awesome challenges that make me think outside of the box and sometimes outside of my creative comfort zone. This was a blast to make and I hope it inspires others to take it to the next level.

Beautiful Mermaids!

Simon Says Stamp Sept 2018 Card kit Beautiful Mermaids.

The Papers I used for my cards and color inspiration is an older paper pack from Graphic 45 called Le Cirque

The Copic colors I used for all three images I matched using my Hex chart by Sandy Allnock and the papers from G45. I can tell you that this chart is my life saver when I need to match colors I have with paper packs when creating my cards. I highly recommend it if your a Copic marker user like me.

MFT Tutu Trio

Love Love Love this stamp set!

I made three cards and a video using this set...link to the video is at the end of this post.

Card 1

For this card I made a dance studio using the Waffle flower Apartment builder die set

altering it just a bit to give me large picture window.

Card 2

On card 2 I used my square dies to cut 2 triangle shapes on my panel then used distress re-inkers and water to create the background. Super easy and a bit messy but it turned out super cute.

Card 3 ( My Favorite )

For this card I used the slider die that came in my Art Impressions slider card kit to make the slider window then put my little ballerinas under the slider for a cute surprise when you pull down. I tried to do some stenciling as not many stamps go up and down but that was a disaster so I used stickers for the slider piece and little enamel harts from Doodlebug. Here are the Copic colors I used for the images.

Large Bunny- W00, W1, W3, R20, R85, R83, R81, BG70

Small Bunny- N4, N2, N0, R20, BG72, BG75

Bear- E44, E42, E41, R20, V25, V22, V21

MFT Challenges

My Favorite Things color and sketch 

challenge

For this challenge I used the free with $60 stamp set and Miss You die. I colored and fussy cut all the images then used papers from G45 for the sketch challenge.

Lawn Fawn Challenge 34

My Favorite place

my favorite place is my home. I love working in my yard and planting flowers in my little gardens. For this challenge I used several different Lawn Fawn images and die cuts plus a tree die that I added flowers to from the spring sprig dies. The birds are from Big Scripty Words and the watering can, sentiment, spade and flower box are from Some Bunny stamp set. I wanted a larger friends sentiment than what came in the Some Bunny stamp set so this one is from a Hero Arts set.

Art Impressions Birthday Girls

Love these ladies! Working on my July submissions for the Card challenges and this is the one for the Art Impressions Patriotic colors challenge.

Lawn Fawn Magic Slider Card

I made this little sweet card using the Lawn Fawn Magic Slider die 

This was a quick little trial card. I have plans for this die set next month when I do the Birthday cards for August. I see Flamingos in my future! 

Birthday Pop Up Box Card

This month is Pop Up box month! at least it is for me. I have three cards to make this month and the box lets me have a little fun with my scene building.

I used the Waffle flower Apt die to make the sweet counter and then the adorable little mice from the Sweet Ice cream stamp set to fill in the box.

 I have no idea where I got these monster stamps they are very old but I love the idea of using them with the reveal wheel die (modified to fit this card)

Tiddly Inks Challenge

For my very first Tiddly Inks challenge I chose this adorable Faythe stamp and surrounded it with bright colors. I wanted to try out the dots for curly hair again and felt this stamp was the perfect one to play with. I picked the Tic Tac Toe squares patterned paper, Tiddly inks stamp and distressing.

Its 1 am right now so my lighting is a bit harsh on the top of the card but this close up is a bit better and less glare.

This was what I started with... The adorable stamp turns a blah card into a wow card!
